About Us
PNW Ride Network was created with a goal to become a community-powered resource for discovering cycling events, clubs, and other resources across the Pacific Northwest.
We aggregate organized rides, from across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and beyond into one shared calendar. The goal is simple: make it easier for riders to find opportunities and for organizers to reach people outside their existing circles. We focus on connecting what already exists, not replacing it.

The Pacific Northwest has a rich and active cycling culture spanning all ride disciplines, and advocacy. What has been missing is a simple, shared way to see what’s happening across the region.
Our blog exists to connect, inform, and inspire the cycling community across the Pacific Northwest while building a voice beyond the ride calendar. It highlights the people and stories behind events and communities, making cycling feel more accessible by breaking down disciplines and expectations so more riders feel confident showing up.
At the same time, it amplifies grassroots rides, supports community-driven efforts, and embraces a balance between performance and joy. Ultimately, it can help shape a shared identity around riding in the PNW while connecting people to the events, stories, and individuals that make this region special.
Values & Vision
We value community first, open and inclusive participation, low-barrier access, collaboration over competition, support for grassroots efforts, and a deep connection to the region and it’s people.
The long-term vision for PNW Ride Network is to become a trusted, living map of the PNW cycling ecosystem. A shared resource that strengthens connection, participation, and belonging across communities and ride disciplines
How It’s Sustained
PNW Ride Network is intentionally designed to be efficient and low-overhead.
In the near term, it is sustained through a mix of:
- Volunteer and community contribution
- Donations & In-kind support from the community and our partners
- Modest sponsorships or grants aligned with our values
The goal is not growth for growth’s sake, but sustainability, enough support to keep the platform healthy, accurate, and responsive to the community.
As the project evolves, its structure and funding will evolve with it, guided by transparency, community trust, and shared stewardship.
