About Us

PNW Ride Network is a community-powered resource for discovering cycling rides, events, and programs across the Pacific Northwest.

We aggregate organized rides, classes, and cycling-focused programming from across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and beyond into one shared calendar. The goal is simple: make it easier for riders to find opportunities and for organizers to reach people outside their existing circles. We focus on connecting what already exists, not replacing it.

The Pacific Northwest has a rich and active cycling culture spanning all ride disciplines, and advocacy. What has been missing is a simple, shared way to see what’s happening across the region.

PNW Ride Network brings together rides, events, programs, and stories into a single, easy-to-navigate platform.

Through our calendar, directory, and blog, we:

  • Support connection across disciplines, locations, and experience levels
  • Help riders discover new communities and styles of riding
  • Increase visibility for clubs, organizers, nonprofits, shops, and advocacy efforts

Riders looking for group rides, events, and community

People new to the Pacific Northwest or new to cycling

Event organizers seeking broader reach

Clubs and community groups welcoming new participants

Nonprofits, shops, and advocates connected to cycling culture

We value community first, open and inclusive participation, low-barrier access, collaboration over competition, support for grassroots efforts, and a deep connection to the region and it’s people.

The long-term vision for PNW Ride Network is to become a trusted, living map of the PNW cycling ecosystem. A shared resource that strengthens connection, participation, and belonging across communities and ride disciplines

PNW Ride Network is intentionally designed to be efficient and low-overhead.

In the near term, it is sustained through a mix of:

  • Volunteer and community contribution
  • Donations & In-kind support from the community and our partners
  • Modest sponsorships or grants aligned with our values

The goal is not growth for growth’s sake, but sustainability, enough support to keep the platform healthy, accurate, and responsive to the community.

As the project evolves, its structure and funding will evolve with it, guided by transparency, community trust, and shared stewardship.
